What we do not store

• Audio recordings. When you dictate, the audio is sent securely for transcription and is processed in-flight. It is never written to our disks or databases and is discarded the moment the request completes.
• Transcripts and documents. The transcribed text and the structured document live only in your browser during your session. We do not save them. When you close or refresh the page, they are gone unless you exported a PDF yourself.
• Patient data. No names, diagnoses, or any clinical content a patient might be identified by are stored on our servers.

What we do store

• Account details: your email address, your name, and a securely hashed password.
• Subscription status: trial/active state and billing identifiers from our payment processor.
• A session cookie to keep you logged in, and minimal anti-abuse counters (no document content).

Third-party processors

• Speech & language AI (Groq): your dictation audio and transcript are processed by Groq to produce the text and the structured document. They are processed transiently to fulfil your request and are not retained by us.
• Payments (Stripe): card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Your responsibility as a clinician

MediVoice is a documentation tool. You remain the custodian of your patients' records. Exported PDFs are saved wherever you choose; please store and share them in line with your local medical-records and data-protection obligations.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time, which removes your account record and subscription data. To request deletion or ask any privacy question, contact us.
